Christmas 2005 Update

The Christmas 2005 update to the website in effect is a re-launch of the Tomb of Jesus Website. Since its initial launch in 1999 the website has established itself as the primary resource for Jesus in India studies. Now this station is officially acknowledged.

The update represents many months of work mainly dealing with editing and updating the website content. At the same time it was felt a new look and feel was needed, and the website has a new template.

Significant editing has occured to the 'Major Players' section with the inclusion of information on current researchers. The additions to the website include multimedia clips added to enhance the experience and better explain the material.

Downloadable PDFs
To allow people to both navigate the sections easily and also choose to look at more in depth information downloadable PDF files have been made available where appropriate. Each PDF file acts as a virtual appendix.

More to come
The updates are not complete, and some work remains on the website, in particular the News Section, FAQ, Lost Tribes of Israel Section, and the Passion of the Christ feature.

Famous Scroll
The St Issa scroll is mentioned repeatedly by 'Jesus in India' scholars and was ground breaking in starting to piece together the life of Jesus.

Shroud of Turin
The Shroud of Turin section has been updated with the latest research invalidating the C-14 date.

In addition a brief look at the Oviedo Cloth has been included.
