Welcome to Tomb Of Jesus.com Wiki!
For those who aren't familiar, Wiki system allows you to submit articles, and then allows other members to submit revisions to those articles. All articles, and revisions, that are posted do not overwrite other revisions, or the original article. Instead, all of the submissions are stored, and moderators can actively switch back and forth between revisions. This is like an online encyclopedia that is editable by visitors (in our case, TOJ website Members. Feel free to Register.or click on the movies above to have an easy understanding of Wiki.

This is a good way to invite people to add their own articles, and make changes/fixes other people's submissions as well. Another way to understand Wiki is to check out an article explaining What wiki is not.

Getting Started
Here are some of the main sections:
Why does the Tomb of Jesus Website Need a Wiki?
Wikis are ways for content to be updates quickly and also allows collaboration and free sharing of information quickly. This is completely in line with the philosophy of the Tomb of Jesus Website. The website plans to be the centre for the study of Jesus in India and thus requires others to post their findings and research quickly.
It is also felt that the format in which information is presented on a Wiki is an ideal format for browsing and research. This is evident from the success of Wikipedia.
Since in wikis, you can do a lots of things with a posted article but with one big limitation of discussing it. So we decided to join these two power houses (TOJ Wiki and TOJ Discussion Forum). By clicking 'discussion' button, TojWiki will create a "Linked" Topic in our discussion forums under 'Wiki' forum and you will be able to post your comments/ feedback or questions for the author along with other members to be able to respond to it.
And all this with the same TOJ member login account.
Content Disclaimer
As the wiki is an open forum the information on the wiki is the personal view of the person editing it. There is no guarantee as to the accuracy of the informaton provided, and the views expressed are not necessarily the views of the Tomb of Jesus Website.
Please make sure you use proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar when typing up your article. Please upload all necessary pictures to the server. Do not link to an outside image as it is not guaranteed to be there later. Although not required, it would be helpful if you left a brief summary if you are editing a page. There is a small text box for a one-line summary under the big text box at the edit screen.
Be sure to check out the Help section to get used to the many ways you can format your article. I recommend testing things out in the page called Sandbox before you make your first article. BBcodes that can be used are HERE
