3. Could Jesus Survive the Crucifxion

Finally there is clear admission from the author that Jesus may have survived the Crucifixion, and that it was medically possible. One weak statement is that in reply to the account given on this website of Josephus that having returned to his home town and seen 3 of his friends on crosses asked for them to be brought down and one survived but the other died.

The deduction drawn from this account by this website is that it was possible for Crucifxion victims to survive. The author of the 'Learn the Bible' website says that the fact that the other 2 people died shows that Crucifixion statistically killed more often than not doing so.

This is a poor comment as Jospehus' friends may have been on the cross for a few days at this stage. The fact that one survived shows its possible. The article acknowledges that it is indeed possible, but then explains why Jesus chose to die.
